Christmas Craft Creations December Challenge – Winter Blues
Hello and welcome to my blog, my friends. We have a new challenge at the Christmas Craft Creations Blog, and the theme for the December Challenge – Winter Blues.
Helen is our Guest Designer for this challenge. Click here to see her gorgeous project.
I started by stamping the image from the Winter Wishes Stamp set on an A2 card base using Azurite Crisp Ink. Then I stamped the image from the Winter Cottage Stamp Set using the same ink. Next, I stamped the solid moon image from the Mini Moon Stamp Set on a piece of masking paper, fussy cut it and stuck it on the card front. After that, I inked the sky using Eastern Sky, Ultramarine and Azurite Crisp Inks along with Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks and my blender brushes. I then unmasked the moon and stamped the details on it using the stamp from the Mini Moon Stamp Set using Iceberg and Eastern Sky Crisp Inks.
Next, I stamped the silhouette of Santa and his reindeers from the My Monthly Hero October 2020 Kit using Azurite Crisp Ink. Then I used my Copic Markers – B29, B26, B23 and B41 to colour all the images. I also used Copic Marker – B41 to colour the ground. I then added details on the stamped images using my Polychromos Pencils – 157, 247 and 151 and a White Prismacolor Pencil.
For the stars, I used stamps from the Dreams Are Made Stamp Set by Hero Arts and the Tim Holtz Stamptember 2017 Set and stamped them using Unicorn Pigment Ink. Then I added more stars using my Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Bitty Holiday Wishes Stamp Set using Azurite Crisp Ink and used my Polychromos Pencil – 157 to make the words a little darker and match the coloured images.
I have listed the products used below. Thank you for visiting my Blog.
