Altenew June 2024 Monthly Release Video Hop + Giveaway
I made this card for the Altenew June 2024 Monthly Release Video Hop + Giveaway. If you would like to join the giveaway, please visit my YouTube Channel. First, I placed the Blossoming Apple Press Plate on the foiling platform. Then I placed the Ivory Black foil with the shiny side facing the plate and away from the cardstock. Once the timer button on the Glimmer Platform turned on, I removed the platform and ran it through my die cutting machine.
Next, I peeled the foil and used the coordinating stencils and the below Dye Inks to colour the images:
Leaves – Firefly, Grass Field, Shadow Creek and Mountain Pine Fresh Dye inks
Branches – Sand Dunes, Mocha and Espresso Crisp Dye Inks
Flowers – Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart, Purple Wine and Cosmic Berry Fresh Dye Inks
Apple – Heart Beat, Vineyard Berry and Rhodolite Crisp Dye Inks
Sliced Apple – Peachy Glow Fresh Dye Ink, Buttercream and Hazelnut Crisp Dye Inks
Core of the Apple – Milk Chocolate Crisp Dye Ink
Seeds and Stamen – Pure Graphite Fresh Dye Ink
Then I used the coordinating die set to die cut the stencilled image.
After that, I stuck some Crystal Clear Enamel Dots on the image to give the illusion of water droplets and since these dots come in different sizes they were perfect for my image.
Next, I splattered Jet Black watercolour on a white A2 cardstock.
I then used the sentiment plates from the Blossoming Apple Press Plate Set to foil the sentiments and die cut then using the coordinating die set.
Then I stuck the image on the card front and trimmed off the excess using my Tim Holtz Scissors.
